Academics

TCANC Tamil School offers a variety of classes based on your child’s ability and knowledge. Each class helps build specific skills in Tamil and prepares the child for the next grade.

The school follows California Tamil Academy’s syllabus. Each student is provided with textbooks, exercise books, and other supplemental material as part of the student package (included with your registration).
In addition, the teachers utilize other study resources such as flashcards, games, posters, Quizlet, and more.
Homework, Projects, and Monthly tests reinforce students’ learning. Spoken Tamil is a compulsory part of homework and tests.
